Freddie, Jason, Tanisha, Tinkerbell, and More

Our latest student spotlight is on senior Tanisha Parker. First and foremost, Tanisha is a Libra! This means that she is compatible with Gemini and Aquarius, as well as fire signs Leo and Sagittarius. So guys, if you want to impress Tanisha, ‘fairness and kindness are key’. Ok, let's get the fan favorite school info out of the way right now. Tanisha has been a cheerleader three times in her illustrious cheering career (9th, 11th, and 12th grades). Tanisha is involved in volleyball and basketball as well. In fact, this will be her 4th year playing basketball. In volleyball Tanisha handles the setting duties. When it comes to class, let's just say that Tanisha likes English better than math. This means that she is in her ‘right mind. :) Tanisha still remembers reading the Outsiders her freshman year with Peck. ‘Stay Gold Tanisha!’ She also likes the projects in Mrs. Hermelbracht’s classes. Specifically the Butterfly Project her junior year. An activity that Tanish enjoys outside of school is sleeping. Her ideal sleeping conditions involve a dark, cold, room and a big fluffy blanket. She admits, however, that she doesn’t get as much sleep as she would like. When Tanisha grows up she wants to be a professional cheerleader…. Just kidding (sorry Ricky). Actually, she is considering going to college to be a teacher! She likes the idea of being a teacher because she believes in helping young people succeed. When it comes to movies, Tanisha likes' em’ scary! She especially likes the Halloween series…. with the 2018 Halloween movie being the best. Tanisha totally believes that, ‘Jason would get a win vs Freddy.’ That’s a pretty bold statement, Tanisha! (Hermy and Chastin believe this as well). The J-Squad also inquired about the type of vehicle that Tanisha would like to drive. It turns out that she likes Jeeps… specifically the Wrangler Rubicon 392 (black) with a 6.4L HEMI-V8 engine. She likes this ride because: ‘it provides off-road capability with impressive power and torque’.... Plus she looks super fly in it. Tanisha is also a fan of the Vampire Diaries. She likes this series because it keeps her in suspense. She admits that she crushes on Paul Wesley who plays the part of Stefan Salvatore (vampire). Yikes! When asked if she believes in aliens, she answered, ‘yes I believe in aliens 100% and they come from the ocean.” She also believes in TinkerBell! Tanisha’s favorite food is chicken alfredo and she would love to eat it on a dream date with the aforementioned Paul Wesley. Wait, do vampires even like chicken? Tanisha’s advice for all of the youngins out there is: Stay in school, stay cool, and don’t worry about what people have to say because: if it ain’t directed-it ain’t respected.
