“New Legend in the Making”
The long anticipated Teacher Spotlight on Mrs. Sandy Pearson is here! This information is piping hot and fresh and can be read in under 30 minutes or it’s free; so grab a cup of coffee, a box of tissues, and a cozy chair as you enjoy, “New Legend in the Making!” (Interview by Chastin Cayou and Herm Dat Man Parker - Edited by the J-Squad)
Sandy is from Oakland, Nebraska - Population 1,279 and still growing. Mrs. Pearson has contributed 4 children (3 bros and 1 girl) to that number. She also has 1 husband, 1 dog, and lots of mice. Oakland is the self-proclaimed Swedish Capital of Nebraska. We understand that this may disappoint some of her fans, but Sandy herself is not Swedish. She is a Gemini. We all know what this means… It means that she is compatible with Aquarius and Libra as they have intimate understandings of one another’s mental nature. This is Sandy’s 4th year here at Umóⁿhoⁿ Nation. She started out as a Full-time Substitute but is now working in the Achievement Center. Mrs. Pearson says that she enjoys working here because it's different every day and because she loves the students. It takes Sandy about 30 minutes to get to work. When asked how fast she drives and if she encounters “The Twelve,” she answered, “I do not speed so I don’t see the police.” (She had to look up “Twelve” in the urban dictionary before she answered.) An interesting note about Mrs. Pearson is that she is the daughter of legendary substitute teacher Mrs. Margaret Buswell. When asked if she feels the pressure of following in her mother’s footsteps Sandy answered, “No I don't feel any pressure but I’m glad she had that relationship with the students.” Speaking of students, when asked who her favorite student is she said, “no one compares to Chastin and no one's smile compares to Herman’s smile.” When Mrs. Pearson is not at work, she can be found reading a good novel such as, ‘The Four Winds’ by Kristen Hannah. (Off the record, Mrs. P. belongs to a rowdy book club with friends). Sandy’s goal is to finish the entire ‘Harry Potter’ series before the end of the year. (Ironically, this is Hermy’s goal as well). Mrs. Pearson also enjoys watching sporting events. She is a huge Nebraska Cornhusker and Oakland-Craig Knights fan. She does feel that Scotty Frost is the man for the Husker job but she doesn’t think anyone is going to be good enough for the Nebraska fans. When asked if she would rather go on a mission with Captain Marvel or Wonder Woman she replied, “Neither. I prefer Captain America.” She is also quite fond of Thor and his long, pretty hair! A movie that makes Sandy belly laugh is ‘Dodgeball,’ while a movie that makes her cry a river is ‘Cinderella Man’. If Sandra were to be in a rock band she feels that she is definitely lead singer material. In fact, she always has a song stuck in her melon. The J-Squad calls this, “an earworm.” Finally, we asked Mrs. P the age old question: If someone gave you an elephant but you couldn’t sell dat elephant or give it away...what would you do with dat phat elephant? Her answer: “I would train dat phat elephant to eat the grass in our ditches so we don't have to mow them.” Great answer Mrs. P! We love you, and say hi to your mom for us!

This is so cool. I feel like I know Sandra personally now.
